October 5th: Let’s celebrate some more.

Please come to the Wardsville United Church on October 5th at 7 p.m. to celebrate the Bicentennial and plan for the coming year.  We’ll show the pictures of the year so far.  And we’ll look at the contents of the time capsules to be put away for 100 years.

Ken Willis and Garnet Ward at Bicentennial celebration June 2010

Wardsville had a grand celebration in June.  There was a potluck in August. Next, Your Wardsville invites everyone to acknowledge our community spirit and volunteering.

What are we going to take on in 2011?  The Bicentennial of the War of 1812 – 1814 is imminent.  How can we be part of that?  Now that we have the barn quilts installed, what do we do with them?  CBC Radio is looking for the most special road in Ontario; isn’t it Highway 2?  The Municipalities of West Elgin and Southwest Middlesex are having an election; who is running on behalf of Wardsville and area?

As usual, there is lots to talk about.  For you solid supporters and committed volunteers, please attend. Your Wardsville has a presentation for you.

Todd Trojand,

President, Your Wardsville
